Technique for cooking steak in the oven:

1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees
2. Season steak with salt and pepper (preserve flavor by not over seasoning)
3. Sear steak on all slides on the stovetop
4. Cook for 10 minutes in the oven
5. Remove from oven. Steak will continue to cook while resting.
